What Does Ultrasound Cavitation Do?

Cavitation Inch Loss is a procedure aimed at overall body circumference reduction. One of the latest technologies in non-invasive body contouring that targets soft and hard subcutaneous fat.

How Does It Work?

Cavitation uses an ultrasound wave to mechanically disrupt the cell membrane of the fat cell. The ultrasound wave creates a vibration within the fat layer, which fat cell walls are unable to withstand structurally. This causes the cell membrane of the fat cell to be weakened. Fat molecules are released into the interstitial space to change into free fatty acids and water-soluble glycerol. The circulatory system of the body absorbs the glycerol to be used as an energy source, whilst the insoluble free fatty acids are transported out of the body through the liver.

This process results in the immediate emptying of the fat cell contents rather than the direct destruction of the fat cells. However, with subsequent treatments, more fat cell destruction takes place with an overall reduction in the number of fat cells in the treated area. It is vital to maintain a healthy lifestyle to prolong the effects of this treatment.
