The following refers to the terms on which Dr Skin Clinics provides treatments and service to its clients. By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years or older. All clients must have read and understood the information below prior to their initial appointment, undergoing any treatment(s), or purchase of any products. If the client does not have the capacity to do this, please ensure a guardian/chaperone is present and fully understanding. A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.

Appointments and Cancellations

• A deposit of £50 is required for all consultation bookings. All payments can be made via our website, over the phone or by emailing bookings@drskinclinics.com. Any additional charges for specific consultation types are due on the day of the appointment.
• Once the client has booked a consultation at Dr Skin Clinics, they will receive an email confirming the details of the appointment.
• If the client is unable to attend their appointment/treatment, Dr Skin Clinics requires 48 hours’ notice to reschedule the appointment. If the client fails to give the relevant notice, they will be charged the associated appointment/treatment fee. Any missed treatments will be deducted from an ongoing course. If the client wishes to cancel due to a Covid-19 related illness, Dr Skin Clinics requires a letter from a medical professional to process any refunds.
• For the initial consultation appointment, the client must arrive 15 minutes prior to the set appointment time to ensure that all forms, consents and other documents from the Appendix have been completed. For subsequent appointments, 10 minutes arrival prior to their appointment will suffice.
• All forms of consent will be attained prior to treatment. Treatment risks and benefits will also be discussed at the initial appointment.
• If the client is showing symptoms of COVID- 19 they MUST NOT attend their appointment and must notify the clinic immediately. The client must follow local and national guidelines regarding Covid-19.

  Symptoms of COVID-19 are as follows: (as per government website)

  • High temperature- this means feeling hot to touch on the chest or back
  • New or continuous cough- this means coughing a lot more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours
  • Loss or change to taste or smell- this means not being able to smell or taste anything, or things may smell or taste different to normal The client is not permitted to have anyone accompanying them to their appointment and any unauthorized individuals will be asked to wait outside the premises. If the client requires the presence of a chaperone for the duration of their treatment, this must be arranged with the clinic prior to attending an appointment.

Deposits and Payments

• All consultations (excluding the Dr Skin Facial Diagnostic which includes the skin scanner), are redeemable against a course of treatments. Consultation fees are NOT redeemable for single treatments.
• Full payment for all treatments is due upon booking an appointment.
• The client will be given a 14-day cooling-off period for all cosmetic aesthetic treatments. During this time, they have the right to assess affordability and whether this treatment is suitable. If the client decides not to proceed, they will receive a refund on all monies spent thus far, excluding the cost of the consultation. Please note this does not apply to beauty-related treatments (i.e. Hydro2 Facial, SkinCeuticals Gel Peel, and selected facials).

Personal Information

• The client’s submission of personal information through the website is governed by Dr Skin Clinics’ Privacy Policy. Click here to view our Privacy Policy.

Billing and Account Information

• Dr Skin Clinics reserves the right to refuse any order the client places with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that a change is made to an order or an order cancellation, we may attempt to notify the client by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
• The client agrees to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made with Dr Skin Clinics. The client agrees to promptly update their account and other information, including their email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete the transactions and contact the client as needed.

Treatments/ Products

• Consultation fees will only be redeemable on treatments taken within a 3-month window from the date of the initial consultation. Clients who have not started a course of treatment within the 3-month window forfeit the offer of the consultation being redeemable against courses of treatment and may require another consultation to reassess for treatment suitability.
• Subsequent skin scanner assessments are redeemable if the client has purchased any treatment or products from Dr Skin Clinics within the last 4 months of their previous skin assessment.
• All products purchased from Dr Skin Clinics are non-refundable. This applies to all skincare products, any products distributed at any time during treatment, or those that have been integrated into treatment courses.
• All prepaid treatment courses must be taken within the following time periods, from the date of purchase.
  • Body Laser/ IPL hair removal treatment courses - 15 months
  • Facial Laser/IPL hair removal treatment courses - 12 months.
  • Body and Facial Laser/ IPL/ Skin Rejuvenation (courses of 3) – 6 months
  • Body and Facial Laser/ IPL/ Skin Rejuvenation/ Chemical Peels (courses of 5 or 6) – 9 months                     
  • Fungal Toenail treatment courses- 6 months
  • Hydrofacial treatment courses- 4 months
  • Body Contouring treatment courses – dependent upon a bespoke treatment plan
  Any treatments which have not been taken within the appropriate time frame may no longer be redeemed.

Suitability for Treatment

• Consultation fees will only be redeemable on treatments taken within a 3-month window from the date of the initial consultation. Clients who have not started a course of treatment within the 3-month window forfeit the offer of the consultation being redeemable against courses of treatment and may require another consultation to reassess for treatment suitability.
• All consultations are led by a clinically trained practitioner, who will examine specific concerns, advise on what treatment options are available, and treat the client’s concerns appropriately. In the unlikely event that Dr Skin Clinics is unable to treat a client due to unsuitability for treatment or if there is any indication that the treatment may be unsuccessful, the client will only be liable for the cost of the consultation.

Modifications to Our Services and Prices

• Prices for products and services are subject to change without notice.
• Dr Skin Clinics reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.
• Dr Skin Clinics shall not be liable to the client or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

Promotions

• Promotions may have separate terms and conditions that are not set out in these Terms of Service.             
• Promotional offers are not to be used in conjunction with any other offers unless otherwise permitted by Dr Skin Clinics.
• Dr Skin Clinics reserves the right to alter any aspect of a promotional offer at any given time without informing the client.
• All treatments and products are subject to availability.

Liability

• The client agrees to comply with all instructions/ recommendations given to them by Dr Skin Clinics relating to any pre or post care of any treated area. Dr Skin Clinics will not be liable for any damage caused by the inability to follow any instructions/recommendations given regarding the care of treated area(s). It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they provide Dr Skin Clinics with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. Dr Skin Clinics will require the client to give their consent upon every treatment.
• Dr Skin Clinics will not be liable for any damage caused by the client’s failure to disclose any relevant medical details that may alter the outcome of a treatment.
• Dr Skin Clinics will not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from the client’s use of any of the service or any products procured using the service, or for any other claim related in any way to the client’s use of the service or any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the service, even if advised of their possibility.
• Dr Skin Clinics do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by the client will meet their expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.
• Dr Skin Clinics will not be liable for loss, theft or damage to any personal property or belongings whilst on the premises.

Feedback

• If at the request of Dr Skin Clinics, the client sends certain specific submissions or without a request from Dr Skin Clinics the client sends creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise, the client agrees that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that the client forwards to us. We are and shall be under no obligation:
  • to maintain any comments in confidence;
  • to pay compensation for any comments;
  • to respond to any comments.
• Dr Skin Clinics may, but have no obligation to, monitor, edit or remove content that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libellous, defamatory, pornographic, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party’s intellectual property or these Terms of Service.

Complaints

Please refer to our Complaints Procedure which is an extension of these terms and conditions. 

Entire Agreement

• The failure of Dr Skin Clinics to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
• These Terms of Service and any policies or operating rules posted by Dr Skin Clinics on this site or in respect to The Service constitutes the entire agreement and understanding between the client and Dr Skin Clinics and govern the use of the Service, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between the client and Dr Skin Clinics (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service).

Changes to Terms of Service

• The client can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time at this page.
• Dr Skin Clinics reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Business by posting updates and changes to our website. It is the client’s responsibility to check the website periodically for changes. Continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
